Profile Champions League club CSKA Moskva

Since the European Cup in the Champions League was made in about 1993, no team from the former Eastern bloc has claimed the European crown. The only team in the East have an impact was made during this time, Dynamo Kiev in the 1990s.

UEFA Champions League 2006/07 saw a recording contract with six pages of competition from the former Eastern bloc in the group stage. The teams come from Eastern Europe, Dynamo Kiev (Ukraine) Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), SpartakMoscow (Russia) and CSKA Moscow (Russia).

It is unlikely that this coming season winner of Eastern Europe (even if one of these teams can win if you can FC Porto) as an example, but if you make a team to select the impact competition, you must choose Russia CSKA Moskva.

The official name is Russian club PFC CSKA Mosvka or Professional Football Club - Central Sports Club of Army (Mosvka). Although not as successful as some of theirMoscow rivals, they won the old Soviet championship seven times (1946, 1948, 1951, 1955, 1991), Cup of Russia in 2002, 2005 and 2006 and won the title of the Russian League football twice in 2003 and 2005.

CSKA Moscow became the first Russian club to win in 2005 at a major European trophy as they won the UEFA Cup. In the final against Sporting Lisbon, they came from behind to win the match 3-1.

Since they beat Sporting Lisbon on their own land, nothingfazed the Army team in Moscow. This season, CSKA and exchange views on the title of Russia for the second consecutive year, they are currently a handful of games remaining and are on track to win the impact in the Champions League.

Their coach Valery Gazzayev has built a strong team on a mixture of Russian youth and experience with a blend of Brazilian flair center. Gazzayev also expected to clarify that the team of Army leading their second consecutive title this season.

Gazzayev also benefitedthe recent investment in the Russian football and could benefit from investments in Sibneft. The club received a major financial infusion from a sponsorship deal with Sibneft, a company of Russian oil billionaire Roman Abramovich added. This investment has enabled CSKA now able to compete in the transfer, and also offer competitive salaries to attract players from outside Russia.

Sibneft investment team in the Army led Gazzayev successfullyAssembly is not only a strong position XI, but a competitive team with international players at different positions on the field.

Gazzayev preferred starting lineup in the form of 3-2-3:

--------------------- --------------------- Akinfeev

A Ignashevich Berezutsky --- --- V Berezutsky

Aldonin -------------- ------------ ----------- Dudu

Krasic Carvalho Zhirkov ---------- ---------------

Vagner Love Jo ------------- -------- --------------

CSKA have one ofstrongest defenses in Russia and is based on
Akinfeev, who is considered by many experts as one of the most promising keepers in Europe. The country at the head of goalkeeper has a trio of Russian national team playing in front of him and Sergei Ignashevich Berezutsky twins, Alexei and Vasily.

The three-man defense is protected by two operations in the Brazilian midfielder Dudu and Russian captain Evgeni Aldonin. Both players are very diligent and experienced Dudu'sPerformances have to make a phone call led to a new look squad Dunga of Brazil. Bosnian international Elvir Rahimi is also capable of a representative for both players.

A man three in midfield behind the two attackers used with Serbian Milos Krasic and one of the best young Russian players, Zhirkov, occupy the wings. Both players are electrifying and incitement on the sides and provide advice with all sorts of problems.

New capped Brazilian international Daniel Carvalho plays in the hole behind theStrikers. Carvalho was the first foreign player to be named Russian player of the year contributed to a series of fine performances for CSKA to win the championship of Russia and the UEFA Cup in 2005.

In attack, Gazzayev rather Brazilians Jo and Vagner Love. Jo is 19 and recently arrived from Corinthians and had an immediate impact on the league's top scorer. Vagner Love has now decided to leave (from Moscow to wish) in Russia and has scored 29 goals in 73 games billed to forge a deadlyPartnership with Jo. Croatian international Ivica Olic is also capable of a non-member.

The Russian champions to grow in confidence with every European country and their team has international experience, good and no visible weakness. His form early in their first Champions League reflected this situation. He managed to hold Arsenal 0-0 at the Emirates Stadium to beat 1-0 at home to overcome the German giants Hamburg (home) and managed to keep the oldFC Porto to a draw (in Portugal).

Dynamo Kiev was the last team of the former Soviet bloc to the impact on the Champions League in the late 1990s. If this is the season when another team from the East has a serious impact on the Champions League?

Manchester United were beaten in the Champions League season 2006/07 AC Milan. It was the last time that Manchester United did not qualify for the finals. After United had played the finaltwo seasons, 2007/08 and 2008/09. This season, the performance of Manchester United is not very catchy as in the previous season. They are still hard to fill the place of Ronaldo. In January transfer window, Sir Alex Ferguson will bring some good players on his side improved.

Chelsea will play against Inter Milan, who is currently coached by José Mourinho. Mourinho was Chelsea man to win two trophies in consecutive EPL 2004-05 Seasonand 2005-06. Mourinho unexpectedly left Chelsea in the 2007-08 season before the game against Manchester United, which Chelsea lost 2-0. Clear as he left Chelsea with some real bad memories, even if one of the most important cradles for Chelsea Football Club. Now he is all set to go to Chelsea with his Inter Milan team. It is better to say it is Chelsea vs Mourinho.

English Football League predictions

The big kick-off, we still have these experts know the world of TV and press, were used to tell us how it ends before it has even begun! As usual, fixed-odds, which were the focus, connected via their service e-zine to end the mission.

Premier League, although Liverpool have spent big, they are not so far and is probably behind United and Chelsea again. The Blues will be interested in his crown again, but the United --seem always to have his nose in front. Arsenal may be a season to be a serious competitor again, but Van Persie, can give a player of players like Rooney, Ronaldo, Gerrard and Drogba a run for its money by referring players to the season. The spores are always closer to the "Big 4" but they are still not close enough and are more likely to fight for the UEFA points with Portsmouth, Villa, West Ham and Newcastle.

Tastes Reading, Everton,Perhaps surprisingly, Sunderland and Derby midfielder can all end table. Most people will make the Rams as certainties for an immediate return to the championship, but in Billy Davies, they have a manager of talent able to keep their heads above water. At the bottom of Blackburn and Manchester City can get out of trouble - the balance in a battle. Wigan have signed many players but too many of them have much to prove and Middlesbrough - with some un-inspiring new recruits - couldthem in the bottom two. Of the 3 other teams could face Allardyce, Bolton battle for the post and slide into the death, so that Birmingham and Fulham breathing big sighs of relief.

Charlton is a good manager and a lot of money, more than capable of jumping immediately from the league and the wolves have with them. Last season, a good experience for the holding of land were black. Sheff U have an impressive front line, but the defense is a concern andthe play-off is an option more likely, with Watford, Cardiff and looking for one of Norwich, Southampton and Coventry. West Brom May also suffer from Wembley was hung over and just missed. Mid-table is probably the best of Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich and Palace significantly with Leicester, Hull and improving QPR last term, but not. Colchester has been surprisingly well in its first year, but probably find a much more difficult time second, and Preston are likely to suffer fromLoss of David Nugent. Bristol City and Blackpool are more than capable of consolidating, but the others look vulnerable. Barnsley is only to survive, including Plymouth, leaving Burnley and Scunthorpe Stoke fight against the drop.

In League One, are the forest edge for promotion, but their presentation is intended to be missed. They have used Neil Lennon, but it is a very difficult division and we must wonder about the legs. Throughout the mission are the two automatic promotion to theDoncaster and Millwall. The Yorkshire club are very ambitious and James Hayter is a sign of cracking at this level. The Lions finished good young side and Willie Donachie Does there. Be taken Huddersfield, Oldham and Luton in order to fill the play-off places with the forest, near Carlisle, Swansea, Yeovil and Southend. Bristol Rovers may have a better season than many have suggested how to Hartlepool and Walsall, the 3 meet. Brighton, Tranmere, Crewe and PortVale set seems pretty boring season, and Gillingham and Leyton Orient looks sure the bottom half material. Leeds needs a little luck with their appeal against the 15 points deducted, otherwise they could just slip through. Swindon may stay until their money, but Bournemouth, Cheltenham and Northampton shows they are all to avoid the drop.

In League Two Paul Ince can get more Fergie - Darren is that! MKD can pip Peterborough at the top with Shrewsbury accessionthem. Be taken Notts County, Darlington and Rotherham, to make the play-off, with surprise packages Bury. Chesterfield, Bradford and Rochdale should all go in the region, Hereford, Wycombe and Mansfield, not too far behind. Lincoln probably missed their chance in the last 5 years, and Terry Butcher does not find life easy at Brentford. The two new entrants able to organize themselves, but the rest might have trouble with Chester and Accrington Stanley to make way for the return of TorquayOxford, will be taken to make their return to the League.

England Premier League - the Liverpool to beat Blackburn

The 18-time champions of the Premier League, Liverpool, confirms its leading position on the table last Saturday by beating Blackburn Rovers 3-1 on the road in a fascinating manner. The game has also been on both teams, but the consistency and determination were higher than those of the Red Rovers in the second half, when it was hard to play defense in a number of occasions.

The Russians themselves with conviction and his tactical plan has been played, which gave a positiveResults Benitez and his players at the end of the game. The Reds have not scored any goals in the Premier League last two games to win ended in draws against Fulham and West Ham, but also their efforts in this game to discover their strategies, gave them what they deserved victory.

This was lost on 5 consecutive times for Blackburn in the Premier League, which remains in the relegation zone with only 13 points. His coach Paul Ince is trying to win the way, but you can find some injuriesits main actors and tactical plans unsuspecting in games did not help to get a victory, even if his players play hard.

On the other hand, Liverpool is working hard to get their pole position at the table and add more points to achieve their grand ambitions for, winning the 19th title of the Premier League. We should mention, however, that Liverpool had struggles and difficulties, but despite this they managed to stay on top.

InBlackburn started the game Saturday with more chances than Liverpool in the first 10 minutes of the game, but they could not be converted because of the fact that "Pepe" Reina was incredible record all attempts of Mr. Blackburn. However, the Reds have still no clear chances in the first 45 minutes and the frustration of the team began to show.

However, in the second half turned things for the Reds, the most aggressive and with more conviction than ever used. Gerrard and Xavi did a great job in midfield to create space, convert them into options for the objectives. To help in a minute 68, Xavi Alonso opened the scoring with a superb Gerrard too. Only 11 minutes later, after again Benayoun for Liverpool 2:0-first on the scoreboard. Then in minute 86 Roque Santa Cruz scored the only goal of the game for Blackburn. Finally, to close the game wrapped up 90 minutes, Gerrard scored the winning goal for the last> Liverpool, finishing 3-1. The win gives Liverpool a total of 37 points in the table just one point ahead of Chelsea.

In addition, Benitez was delighted with his team performance, because even when things are not quite on their side, his team took advantage of every chance to win. "We know we can play better than we were, but what gives me confidence that we too in places like this and get results, even if we can do our best," said coach spanish."Of course, it was an important three points for us. We're in a good position and we want to stay."

Benitez also noted that players like Gerrard and Mascherano gets better with time and that key players like Torres and Skrtel will soon be back on the field. Located on the team and help them more support in attack could balance. The next game against Hull City of Liverpool will be home December 13th.

Watch Arsenal vs Liverpool Online Live - Watch Champions League Preview 2008

Arsenal will be against Liverpool in the quarterfinals of the Champions League final next 2008th It will certainly be an exciting match and managers to decide what strategies to use for hunting so well in the English Premier League and Champions League. The interesting thing is that Liverpool and Arsenal play each other three times in succession at the beginning of April, in the quarterfinals astride a meeting of Premier LeagueHighbury, April 5.

Arsenal and Liverpool have never stood in European competition, but the platform was set for a semi-intimate all-England final. If Liverpool and Chelsea do to be down to the last four, they compete to stage the tournament for the third time in four years, with the side Rafael Benitez, he has won the last two meetings.

All eyes will be on Arsenal and Liverpool. I think, do favors ArsenalMoreover, because both games will be played in England, to Champions League and Benitez knowledge, not so much as he would be facing a European team to have. If Arsenal can repress Torres, Liverpool will in any case.

Even if Arsenal in May over Liverpool in the Premier League, but the placement of the internal shape has nothing recent all-English duels counted. If Chelsea beat Arsenal in 2004 exceeded Chelsea and Liverpool in 2005 and 2007,He was the loser who finished highest in the Premier League.

Benitez has been more than Arsenal in the 2002/03 UEFA Champions League second group stage, when Valencia. The team 0-0 at Highbury in December 2002 and entered the second time in their last group match at the Mestalla in March 2003 in Valencia a 2-1 victory won first place in the section to the side Spanish and underlined Arsenal to third parties.

Liverpool and Arsenal last met in two games in the legsEnglish League Cup semi-final in February 1978. Liverpool won the first leg at Anfield 2-1 and held to a goalless draw in north London in the tax return.
